Liu Hezhen, a third winner of the 31st Shanghai University Students' Japanese Proficiency Demonstration Contest, and a student of the Japanese Language Department of the School of Foreign Languages, ECUST, was invited by the organizer Kyoto University of Foreign Studies, together with two other winners, to conduct a week-long cultural exchange visit to Japan from March 11th to 17th, 2019.   This culture exchange event was reported on the “Kyoto News” newspaper . The cultural visits have promoted Chinese students’ understanding of Japanese culture and are they are also precious opportunities for Sino-Japanese friendly exchanges.
